Profitable Keywords for Your PPV Campaigns

In PPV campaigns, most people focus on urls. This is good because url's are highly targeted, and can convert well. Keywords on the other hand often get left out of campaigns because people don't think they convert well. Hopefully this blog post will change that. Here are some ways you can make the most out of keywords in your PPV campaigns The simple approach You can make keywords out of the url's you are bidding on. For example; if the url I was bidding on was autoinsurance.com (just an Read more [...]

Why and How You Should be Collecting Emails

Collecting emails should be something you do on a regular basis. When you build a list, you can market to it over and over again. It's a bit different than paid traffic straight to a landing page or direct linking. In that scenario, you are hoping as many clicks as possible convert. When you are collecting emails, the same holds true, but you have a little easier margin to work with. Think about these two scenarios - You have a campaign sending traffic to a landing page promoting a dating offer. Read more [...]

Build 120 campaigns a month in 1 hour per day

You would probably laugh if you saw some of my campaigns. They are ridiculously simple and easy. New members of the forum are really surprised to hear this. Most new affiliates make things way harder than they need to be. I'm not the only one having success by marketing this way, I see people all the time that are making a lot of money with nothing fancy at all. New affiliates like to have everything lined up perfectly. They have tracking all set, very professional landing pages, meticulously Read more [...]

PPV Campaign Scaling Tricks

The first thing people want to know when they hit on a winning campaign is 'what's next?'. Lets cut to the chase and talk about some ways you can scale. Ask for a payout bump This has got to be the easiest, and kind of surprisingly overlooked, ways to scale a campaign. Any payout increase will help. So how do you go about getting a pay bump? Usually the network will want to see some traffic and gauge the quality a little. Sometimes they will bump you right away (usually when they were offering Read more [...]

5 Quick Traffic Vance Tips

This post is about many affiliates favorite PPV traffic source - Traffic Vance. Instead of doing a basic post on what Traffic Vance is and where they get their traffic, I wanted to share a few tips that will help your campaigns. I'm going to keep this short and simple. 1. Positions 2-4 can often make a huge difference in ROI. Stop bidding into first position and let those idiots overbid you by .10 2. Test lowering your bids. Basically, you don't know if you always need to be bidding that Read more [...]

The 100% CTR Trick

What if I told you there was this new way to run campaigns...one that was easier, faster, had a great chance for success, and guaranteed every visitor saw your offer page? No, I'm not coming out with a new course called directlinkingplaybook.com but direct linking needs a second look. Like most traffic sources, niches, techniques, and landing page styles, direct linking goes in and out of style. Go back to some of the earliest affiliate marketing on AdWords and many people direct linked. Now of Read more [...]

Results! 30 Days of Building Campaigns

The 30 day campaign challenge we did on the forum is pretty much wrapped up.  I'll post my results and am doing a survey of those who participated in the challenge. I ended up making 53 new campaigns. This is a lot lower than I had hoped for, but I had a lot going on this month. Posting my daily campaign totals definitely made me build more than I would have otherwise. I cringed every time I had to post and say I did 0 campaigns. Out of the 53 I had about 15 that were profitable or near Read more [...]

PPV Workshop At ASW

I will be doing a mastermind at ASW this year. Last year in Vegas I did one and a few of our original forum members were there. I've done a couple of these in the past on different topics. This one will be geared towards more beginning/intermediate marketers. This year, Lee DeGrande and Adam Bunch from the forum will be joining me to share some of their knowledge and do an awesome case study :) When I say beginner, I don't mean we are going to be talking about 'what is PPV' or how to install Prosper.
