ASW – Cats. Cookies. Cash.

Another ASW is in the books! This was another fun show, and super super busy.

We flew in on Sat night. On the approach to Las Vegas, the flight attendant gets on the intercom and in a worried sounding voice announces “I need everyone to shut their blinds and turn on their flight attendant buttons“. As she repeated this a few times, you could hear everyone getting nervous and wondering wtf was going on. I was mostly worried about not getting to wear my cat shirt at the party. After a min of wondering if we were plunging to our death, the flight attendant goes “We have a very special birthday on board..” and proceeded to lead us in singing happy birthday to someone. I wasn’t too pleased.

Once we landed safely and checked in, we just relaxed for the night which felt nice after weeks of getting presentations and party stuff organized.

Sunday morning was Stefanie’s consulting mastermind and it turned out great. It was a full 2 hours of detailed information on consulting. Afterwards, we had a private lunch for the mastermind attendees.

Our main mastermind was next. I ended up talking for 2 1/2 hours (much longer than planned) and was followed by Jason, then Ctrtard. Every presentation was really good and judging by the feedback we got, the attendees thought so too.

We ended just in time to get ready for the party. This was our most successful party to date. We had a big turnout and ended up paying the bartender to stay an extra hour so we could keep going!

Ben from POF eating some cookies (which were a huge hit again). I told several people my girlfriend made the cookies and most though I was joking until I brought them over and said ‘no look, here she is tell them..’

I was so busy talking to people at the party, I didn’t get many pics but here are a few

Look..actual girl in the hot tub.

Having a bartender made the party so much better, we had drinks flowing all night. This was one of, if not the most successful Aff Playbook parties to date. A HUGE thank you to CPA Trend for sponsoring. I think Phil, Andrew, and Alex had a great time too!

I don’t think we went to bed until about 2:30am. That doesn’t sound too bad for Vegas standards, but we had been up since 7am and going hard all day.

The next day we headed over to the conference, had lunch with Ctrtard and a few other at the Cesars buffet. We had to wait in line for 45 min and it was $50 each. The food was good, but no way any of us ate $50 worth lol.

Next we headed to Internext which was pretty lame. It was dead, and seemed like just a few people/companies hanging out in hotel rooms you could go talk to. I guess it’s more of an informal meetup/conference, but definitely not what we were expecting.

After that, jSiN, Ctrtard, Stefanie, myself and a couple others went to an indoor shooting range. You can rent a big variety of guns, or various gun packages and shoot. I shot, and Uzi, Ak47, and a M249 S.A.W. – lots of fun!

We did a dinner afterwards and headed back to the hotel. I was so tired, I told Stefanie I wasn’t leaving the hotel room until we left for the airport the next day and that’s pretty much what we did except going down to the buffet .

This was a great ASW. I got to meet a ton of members I hadn’t met before. Some who have been with us since the beginning of the forum over 3 years ago!

Oh, and about the cat shirt. I did wear it, and it was awesome. Ctrtard only wore his for a minute to take a pic, but it’s now captured for all time.

One more thing – I probably won’t wear a cat shirt outside of a hotel room in Vegas again. After the party, we went down through the Palms to find something to eat. I passed numerous drunk people who were going “dude, that’s awesome!” and one very drunk woman who squealed and rawred at me.
